Rental Terms

Applicable to all renters (daily/weekend/weekly rentals):

Payment:
The rental fee is paid in advance upon booking.
25% of the total amount is due within one week of reservation.
The remaining amount must be paid at least 6 weeks before arrival to account number 9495 05 78712.
For payments from a foreign bank:

• IBAN: NO05 9495 05 78712
• SWIFT: HANDNOKK

Cancellation:
Cancellations must be made in writing and are valid once received by the owner.
Fees are calculated as a percentage of the total rental amount:Up to 45 days before arrival: 10% (minimum NOK 900).
44–30 days before arrival: 50%.
29 days or less before arrival: 100%.
In case of closure due to government restrictions, rebooking will be offered. For quarantine or illness, claims must be made with your insurance provider.

Check-in/Check-out:
Check-in is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival unless otherwise agreed.
Check-out is by 12:00 PM on the day of departure.

Cleaning:

Final cleaning is included in the rental price.

Parking:
Each cabin has one dedicated parking space.
Additional parking for cars or boat trailers must be arranged in advance.
Space for your own boat must also be arranged in advance (maximum size: 15 feet).

Firewood:
All cabins have a wood-burning stove. Firewood can be purchased for NOK 100 per sack (60 liters).

Sports Facilities:
Access to a private sand volleyball court—please bring your own ball!

Boats:
Each cabin rental includes a 13-foot rowboat.
Life vests in various sizes are available but bring your own if possible. Vests must always be worn in the boat and can be found in the boathouse by the docks.

We offer three Pioneer boats (14 and 15 feet) with 9.9/10 HP motors for rent: NOK 600 per day and NOK 3,000 per week.

All boats and docks belonging to Sandaa are marked with “sandaa.no.”
