Tips for a great experience

To make the most of your visit, we recommend bringing a few essentials. After several years of year-round swimming, we’ve gathered some useful experience to share with you. It’s always a good idea to pack a sturdy backpack. Here’s what you might consider bringing:

Bring two towels – one to sit on in the sauna and one for swimming, if you decide to take a dip.

Check the weather forecast in advance and dress accordingly. Weather conditions can be quite harsh.

These can be lifesavers when considering cold plunges. They enhance the experience during winter. And don’t forget a pair of gloves to protect your fingers, especially if you plan to stay in the icy water for more than a minute.

This is practical to bring along in the evening. There is no lighting on the path from the parking lot to the sauna, so having extra light can be helpful.

Remember to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated before, during, and after your visit. If you’d like to enjoy a snack, having a picnic on the pier with its private seating area is a great idea. For an extra cozy experience, you can light a fire and grill sausages at the seating area at the end of the pier. It’s always a winner!
